Meet the family behind Tiny Alternatives
Gippsland locals, Brendan and Serena are the husband-and-wife team behind Tiny Alternatives.
They share five beautiful children, and recently tied the knot in January 2022.
We felt compelled to start Tiny Alternatives after seeing friends struggle to break into the property market in Victoria. We wanted to provide an alternative that was high-quality, while still being affordable and sustainable.
Brendan is a carpenter by trade and currently does the construction of each tiny home himself, bringing in qualified local trades as required. You can check out the build process of our first tiny home, here.
In the long-term, we hope to use the business as an opportunity to engage local youth and help them secure hands-on work experience to become job-ready. It’s something we’re really passionate about!
